Roman Candle: In Pursuit of Liberty
By: Megan Hussey

When Liberty Banks-Owens attends a Fourth of July picnic with her surly, unfaithful husband, Jake, things dont go as planned for the plus-sized Southern belle. First she pummels her insulting mate with a hearty dose of her hash brown casserole; then she indulges in a hot, impulsive affair with a seductive Italian hunk she meets at the picnic. Liberty always has a way of adding her own personal touch to every event. . .

On this Independence Day, handsome art professor Antonio Bertini meets a woman who frees his heart and fires his sensual imagination. Not satisfied with a brief, impulsive affair, he aims to pursue his Libertyand keep her close to his heart.

The Romance Studio gave this title an amazing review of four and a half hearts!  Brenda wrote:

The very first scene of this wonderfully written, hilariously wicked novel told me that this was going to be a fun book! From here until the very end, I was not disappointed! . . .I loved the way Ms. Megan Hussy wrote this tale. Even though Liberty had a figure flaw (as far as Jake was concerned!), she stood up to him. When she met Antonio Bertini, a professor of art at the nearby community college, she told him she was married and had no intention of having an affair.

The book has a wonderful beginning, middle and ending. I really enjoyed reading this love story which reminded me that not all heroines are perfect. Kudos, Ms. Hussy!

If readers are looking for a short, fast, passion filled story, then Roman Candle by Megan Hussey is for them. Even in a shorter book like this, we are given a very good look into the heart of Liberty and Antonio. Liberty has only ever wanted to be a good wife but her husband’s treatment of her makes that difficult. We get to experience alongside of her, what it feels like to finally throw off the shackles of a bad relationship and move on with her life, even finding the true mate of her soul. . .this is a wonderfully sexy story guaranteed to be a pleasurable pastime for readers.
