This year, Samuel Claus – son of Santa, who we would call the North Pole’s most notable resident but we don’t want to alienate the guy who owns the snowblower – gifted girlfriend Rebekkah Taylor with a most unique Yuletide gift: a wedding ring.

This beats last year’s gift by a mile, or perhaps by several billion miles.  Indeed, it was this time last year that the handsome Samuel gifted Rebekkah – a Florida public relations wiz known also for her killer karaoke renditions of Village People songs – with a royal case of jet lag.  The couple, along with Rebekkah’s so-cute-the-elves-are-jealous niece Charli, made the rounds with the reindeer as Samuel assumed his father’s job for the first time.

They brightened the holidays of troubled families on Christmas Eve, and left only a limited number of fruitcakes in their wake.  And they fell in love.
